For the proper functioning of the activated carbon filter units, design and installation conditions are necessary:
The air passage temperature must not exceed 50 °C.
The relative humidity must not exceed 70%.
The frontal air velocity must not exceed 1.5 or 2 m/sec to allow the air time to filter and purify.
To allow this, it is necessary to place a hopper with a section equal to the size of the unit in question at the inlet and outlet of the purifier.
